I like that it it in black and white, I find that it gives more character to the picture this way. You can see the color definition of the bricks and then shadows caused by the window sill. Its and action shot, where it looks like a woman and a child were out on the fire escape when it collapsed under them. The still shot its pretty cool because you can see not only the people falling but the potted plants as well. There actually looks like there is a haze coming from the top window, so if could have been a fire with them trying to escape. The lines from the fire escape drag the eye in the direction of the fall and gives the appearance that they are falling from a great height. Its also cool how you can see the different parts of the fire escape breaking apart mid air.
