ICCA 10/8/12

this picture is very sad to me because it feels like the the holes are a collection of graves and the dog is lying next to the remains of his buried owner. The color of this picture is pretty cool, they way most of it is warm colors, brown red and gold. I also like the contrasting colors of the dog and wood from the rest their surroundings by being the brightest points in the picture. i also like the texture of the dirt in the dirt mounds and the sides of the holes. the holes give it depth and the line of them gives us a sense of space. the different shades in the dirt is also pretty cool. the picture just makes me sad because it feels like a mass grave.
